Comprehensive Online Health ProgramsThe Healthy Choices Wellness Programs address five main factors that affect your health: How You Think: Mind-set and attitude are extremely important to your health goals' long-term success. How do you treat yourself? Are you supportive and encouraging or negative and defeating? What is your self image? The self image you hold "I’ve never been successful in a program before" may be different than the ideal you are trying to attain "I see myself as healthy, vibrant and full of energy." It is important to explore these ideas and thoughts and to align your current and ideal self images. You will also learn simple techniques to reconnect with and truly listen to your body’s needs. How You Eat: By following the Three Principles of Healthy Eating, outlined in your program, you will learn how to make healthy choices by creating your own healthy eating plans using worksheets, examples and the online meal planner included in your Chrysalis level online membership. The Three Principles of Healthy Eating is not a diet, but simply sound principles to live by. As you apply these principles, you will discover for yourself why they work and be able to see past the false claims of advertisers and the media. How You Move: The research is clear - exercise is a key component of healthy living. It promotes happiness, strengthens memory, improves mood, and affects self-esteem and the immune system's functioning. If we experience all these positive effects from exercise then why is it so easy to put exercise on the back burner? Two reasons: We don’t make room in our life for health and we often have self defeating, all-or-nothing thoughts. We tell ourselves, "Unless I go to the gym every day this week, whatever exercise I do won’t make a difference, so why bother?" Not True! The Healthy Choices Wellness Programs will ease you into your routine, and the benefits will be quickly apparent. As much as 80% of all diseases and illnesses are liked to the amount of stress we feel. The stress-relieving activities in the Healthy Choices Programs include simple techniques you can do throughout the day to reduce your stress levels. You Choose Your Program
There are two levels of participation within the Healthy Choices Wellness Programs. The first level of participation is an eight week Healthy Choices | Program for Success. At this level you can focus on the one program that best fits your needs. If you are struggling with emotional eating, the eight week Developing Mind-Body Connection is for you! If you are confused about how to eat healthier to lose weight and achieve optimal health choose the eight week Developing Health Eating Habits. If you would like to become active but you have always had a hard time sticking with a program then check out the eight week Developing Activity and Fitness Habits. The second level of participation is the Healthy Choices | Chrysalis Wellness Program you'll enjoy all three programs and all the perks that go along with the twenty six week plan, including access to the member's only website. How Your Program Works: Once enrolled in your online health program, you will receive day-to-day support, guidance and structure through the Daily Emails, Monday through Friday. Each day brings a new topic. At the end of the email is an Action Plan, where you can put the information you learned into practice. The plan will guide you on how to incorporate healthy choices into the way you eat, think and move. Let's Check In! On Fridays you will receive an email from me, checking in with you on your progress the past week. Included is a check list so you can easily assess and compare your week's progress.
